Ventura Ferrer Roca holds a PhD in Physical Activity and Sports Science, and since 2004 he has been a sports biomechanist at the High Performance Centre Sant Cugat (Centro de Alto Rendimiento, CAR Sant Cugat).
During the Spanish Championships between 2017 and 2019, he has been responsible for the Biomechanical Analysis of pole vaulting and horizontal jumping in the ‘Performance Analysis and Support Area’ of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (Real Federación Española de Atletismo, RFEA).
Since 2016, he has been working in close collaboration with the Traumatology and Orthopaedics Service of the Sant Joan de Deu Hospital (Hospital Sant Joan de Deu) performing preoperative gait analysis in patients with cerebral palsy.
External Lecturer in the Master’s Degree in High Performance and Sports Training at the University of León (Universidad de León, ULe), Master’s Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the Gimbernat University and Master’s Degree in Physical Activity and Health at the INEF, Barcelona.
